A macabre installation equal parts humorous and ghastly, Casting Spells explores the captivation of violence, serial killers and true crime more generally, while using found objects such as tarot cards, thrift shopped dolls and copious amounts of fake blood to highlight the absurdity and gravity of the culture's fascination with -and terror of- such an obsession.
