Paired here with the gold-leafed eggshells of Promises Promising Promises, Breakers Dozen is a series of 13 metal abstracts that act as something of a Rorschach test: what do you see of yourself, or those you know, in these sculptures, and how does that influence your feelings about each piece individually and taken as a whole? Do you find yourself intentionally distancing your own associations or do you lean into experiencing what it means for you, and therefore what it might mean on a larger scale?
